From a young age, Chef Sun developed a passion for cooking. Fortuitously, he was selected to study at the Guangzhou Culinary School. After graduation, he specialized in Cantonese cuisine, working at renowned restaurants. Later, he was selected three times to attend Cantonese cuisine chef expositions in Japan. He then immigrated to the United States, working at prominent establishments in California. For decades, he has remained devoted to his craft as a chef.

從小喜歡學習做厨,剛好有機會選送到廣州烹飪學校學習,畢業後從事粵菜厨藝,被聘請到廣州冸溪酒家做厨師,後來又被聘請到珠海石景山莊,專為中央首長用膳,以后又被三次選派去日本舉辦博覧會做粵菜厨師。回國后繼續在在珠海渡假村酒家、好世界酒家、步步高酒家做厨師,至移民到美國,為發揮自己的厨藝,更好為灣區僑胞服務。

選料廣博,海鮮是食中珍品,根據地方喜愛,特選各種海鮮,如紅龍、龍躉、大龍蝦、蟹、鲍魚、石班、銀曹、游水蝦、象拔蚌、貴妃蚌、生蠔等,除此之外,豬、牛、羊、雞、鴨、鴿類,煲仔鐵板類,頭枱,湯羮類,為地方菜之上品,稱為美食隹餚。

Renowned for its wide selection of ingredients, Cantonese cuisine places special emphasis on seafood, considered a true delicacy. Based on regional preferences, premium seafood such as red dragon fish, giant grouper, lobster, crab, abalone, spotted grouper, silver pomfret, live shrimp, geoduck, Venus clams, and fresh oysters are carefully selected. In addition to seafood, pork, beef, lamb, chicken, duck, and squab are also featured. Claypot dishes, sizzling plates, cold appetizers, and soups are regarded as local specialties—treasured delicacies in the world of Cantonese gourmet.
